The Alfredo Cetrone family olive farm is located near Sonnino, a small medieval town in the Province
of Latina on the slopes of the Lepini mountain range, a birds fly from the Tyrrhenian Sea in the
distance! It is in this uncontaminated environment that the Cetrone family have been cultivating the
olives trees since 1860, a long family tradition handed down through all generations.
The olives trees are located at different altitudes on natural stone terraced slopes and in well drained stony soil. A piece of heaven and fresh air, the influence of the sea breeze coming from the Tyrrhenian Sea and the different altitudes and temperatures between day and night where the olives grow will determine the type of olive oil produced in the sense of its strength and intensity.
Alfredo Cetrone Extra Virgin Olive Oil is extracted exclusively from the Itrana Olives, a particular cultivar endemic of this part of central Italy Lazio region and northern Campania. A fleshy olive with a duality for producing an incredible fruited olive oil and also a fantastic table olive, not all olives have this duality.
